AUDIT IT  is Auditrax’s benchmark analysis of the drivers and cost of the major functions of IT.

 AUDIT IT  provides our clients with actionable recommendations to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, cost and performance of their IT organization and of the IT functions performed. This high level management assessment has the following components:

Business and IT Alignment Assessment: A survey is conducted to determine the alignment of IT with the client’s line(s) of business, and the effectiveness and contribution of IT to enabling the achievement of the business’ critical success factors.

IT Cost and Performance Assessments:  Peer comparison-based assessments are performed to determine the appropriateness of the IT costs to the IT functions performed and IT services delivered.

• Audit IT highlights those functional areas that offer the greatest opportunities for improved performance.  Based on key efficiency indicators delivers a broad, high-level view of IT performance for each functional area.  It provides specific recommendations on the IT infrastructures and IT services supported by the IT department of the assessed client company, based on an assessment of current and projected academic and administrative departmental needs within the assessed client company.
• It quantitatively analyzes the efficiency of each major IT function and compares it to database averages from peer IT organizations to establish "relative performance".
• It delivers an assessment of IT support requirements for the achievement of the assessed client company's goals and objectives with focused recommendations about IT technology, organization and process changes required for that achievement.
• Audit IT summarizes cost and efficiency gaps between current and potential performance, and provides a review for reporting IT performance to the assessed client company's management.  This analysis allows for consistent, structured IT measurement, and can be used to track cost, efficiency, and performance improvements year-to-year by the assessed client company's IT department, and/or by Auditrax, Inc.
